I have had many years experience as a carer and healer, I live with my husband who has been diagnosed with dementia and who is still in the first stages. My eldest daughter Lorraine F Evans who is married has also been diagnosed with Myesthenia Gravis and I dedicate this site to her because not only is she one of the most courageous people I know she has also helped me to start and develop this site for which myself and many others are grateful. I have four children, nine grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren and after discovering the many needs of individual carers in our society today, and being one of them myself, I realised that although with the right information it is possible to find materiel and physical support and that this help is available to carers, the emotional and spiritual side is much neglected, so I decided although being supposedly retired to bring together carers on an informal light hearted site specially designed for them,. Hence Healingspur in recognition, and to spur them on to take care of themselves to meet new people and form friendships, spend some time on here with us and share some happy, helpful, and informative times. This is my interest, and I relax by enjoying precious available time with my husband, taking walks with the dog, meditating, writing, and seeing family when I can, I am sure as we become aquainted you will get to know me.
