Wolves
I love all creatures on this planet and it is very sad to see a vast number of them becoming extinct, it is good to know that now many wild animals and birds etc are being introduced once more all over the world thanks to our conservationists great work, so many of our wild creatures have been destroyed by mankind through cruelty and lack of knowledge. Here in the UK we are now finding that the lynx, wild boar, wolves, and eagles among others are getting attention, so many of them have had a bad reputation that they do not deserve.
Many of us own dogs and yet know little about their origin from wolves, to understand it is important to study the magnificent wolf, or any animal to see that just as we are human beings. They are also beings and can teach us so much about what it truly means to just BE, their instincts are sharp and they are totally aware, that is what we have forgotten in our human nature. I do not have to be an expert on the evolvement of any animal or creature in order to love them. There are two species of wolf, the red and the grey, and also many sub species so it is difficult to say correctly just how many there are. There are some very good links that give excellent information on almost everything we would like to know about them which is important for some people who maybe considering wolves, or wolf dogs as exotic pets. Myself I prefer them to be in the wild where they belong unless they are being rescued with the hope of returning them there, sadly for many reasons some wolves can never be returned, as an example I would like to recommend down loading the fourteen videos about The Saw Tooth Pack made by Jim and Jamie Dutcher who lived with the wolves. They tell us about the amazing life they had with them, and reveals how wonderful and beautiful wolves are.
