Why I Dress My Dog
I know lots of people wonder why anyone would want to dress a dog in what they see as silly outfits,
so I think I will give you an answer why I sometimes dress Barnaby, first of all although the expression on his face
may say I think I look silly he actually does love it and appreciates his new clothes as much as his toys. First of all
I only dress him in winter occasionally because he has very thick double silky fur, and when it rains or gets too windy his
coat gets into knots, and when wet his fur goes wavy and tangled so there is a valid reason, in summer he does not need to be
dressed, but I do worry sometimes when the pavements and concrete gets extremely hot for his tiny paws and he is better carried
in a bag, people forget that a small dog needs a little extra care about these things, so when you see a dog dressed do remember
that it is not always as daft as it seems and they are not always just spoilt pooches, Barnaby is a proper dog and would be insulted
if he was not considered to be so, enjoy their cuteness and respect their dignity, they enjoy a bit of fun too.
