Colour and form are created by light it is an electromagnetic energy produced by the sun and has different wave lengths,
these waves are bounced of our eyes and create the light, what we see is reflected by light, the low frequency registers
in the brain as the colour red, high frequency waves produce the colour violet, white is a combination of all colours.
Light is not visible until it bounces off something, and colour is a property of light, when it is absorbed and reflected into
different wave lengths we get different colours, as with a prism held up to sunlight there will be a rainbow of colours on the
opposite surface. The seven colours are not the entire spectrum for there are a multitude of various shades. Colour affects different
energies of the body and can affect our moods on a conscious and unconscious level. We are all a unique energy system. The universe is the
energy of vibration and our physical organs are in fact comprised of vibrating atoms.
Colour being a property of light it is very beneficial to us physically and emotionally and colour has been used in healing for
thousands of years, and even those who are not believers in the importance of it will have to agree it is many times used in our
language to describe our moods, and that wearing certain colours has meaning. Black is considered sombre and although worn at funerals
in the west it is rarely worn on other occasions without an adornment such as scarves or jewellery, and colour beneath it in the east,
very often we use it to describe our moods, for instance, feeling blue, in the pink, green with envy, red with anger etc. A scientific
fact is that there are certain areas of the body where electromagnetic vibrations are higher, and where our body is more receptive to
colour healing. Colour healing is a way of balancing it is not a medicine or cure, it is a helpful and very effective way of helping,
balancing and energising so that we are more able to manifest our own good health.
