How Desperately important it is to have enlightened leaders on our planet earth today but it appears they
are hard to find, there are those that we have been fortunate to have on this earth in the past who have guided us,
and there are still a few living today, some who are great and famous, sadly we need more, but thankfully although
there is so much strife and issues to be very concerned about on our planet I do believe people are beginning and
progressing to gradually become aware, those that are beginning to grow in wisdom and light, they are sometimes to be
found in unlikely places and are certainly lots of times unrecognised because they live quiet unassuming lives and pass
their light on every day, any one of them may be a neighbour, or some one we meet at a bus stop, or in a super market,
those are the people who like a pebble tossed into a lake cause their ripples of pure light to touch more and more hearts and souls.
It has always been that light and dark exist and it is everyone's task when an enveloping darkness accumulates
and grows, to banish the dark and balance it with the light of our souls, it is comforting to know that there are
increasingly those who are doing so right now, we have so many free and beautiful things to be grateful for here
on our planet earth may there be strong men and women who will come forward to take care of them and our children,
and may those who do so be protected by angels and have blessings showered upon them.
Nelson Mandella in his inaugural address 1994
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that frightens us, we ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actualy who are you not to be? You are a child of God, your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to manifest the glory within us; it is within everyone., and as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others"
Benjamin Franklin - quote
"What is wit, or wealth, or form, or learning, when compared with virtue? Tis true, we love the handsome,
we applaud the learned, and we fear the rich and powerful; but we even worship and adore the virtuous. Nor is it strange,
since men of virtue are so rare, so very rare to be found, if we were industrious to become as good as to make ourselves great,
we would become realy great by being good, and the number of valuable men would be much increased, but it is a grand mistake to
think of being great without goodness, and I pronounce it as certain, that there was never yet a truly great man that was not
at the same time truly virtuous"
